I am looking at removing carpeting from my 13ft Scamp with some linoleum. I have taken out the bench seats but have never removed the couch or other parts. What did others do when replacing the carpet--did you remove everything or what?

Thank you for help.

I actually left my bench seats in, and my front bench in.... I cut the carpet between the two back benches - and put laminate on the floor area....

I'm sure others have done it different ways, but this worked out well for me.

Take the carpet out first. Now make a template of your floor out of paper then lay this on your flooring and cut it out. This will give you a better fit. I left all the bench's in, when you take the carpet out under the table there will be a gap just slide the flooring under that gap. Very easy to do. Take the door sill pate off on the floor from under the scamp, 2 screws If i remember right. On the step up use a section of aluminum angle as trim.
