Replacing Water Supply Inlet

I think I may need to replace the water supply inlet. Took it out and hooked it up with a new hose. Water was leaking from the connection, a washer was in place. Maybe the pressure was too high and have ordered a regulator but the connection looks original and maybe it just needs to be replaced.

I see plenty of replacement parts for this. It looks like an easy fix but is it? Anyone out there that can offer advice on doing this?

Thanks!

Are you talking city water? I.e. hose from the ground with tap? Was the washer old or newer?

Where is it leaking from? Hose side or inside? How about teflon tape?

Remove the three screws and pull out some.
You will be able to put a wrench on the back side to loosen.
You can pull your drawers out next to the stove which, allows you to see the connection from the inside. Not hard to do, you'll do fine.

Yup this was city water tap, washer was new, had a dome filter on it.

PO says maybe pressure was too high.

Didn't have any tape.

I think a replacement would be a good fix in any case. Thing is 23 years old.

Thanks,
