ResMed CPAP Battery Requirements

A bunch of us at the Lake Mille Lacs gathering were talking about powering our CPAP machines from our trailer's batteries*. I got in touch with ResMed and they sent me this handle table.

Gary

*Dorothy said we were talking about our CPAP's like a bunch of teenagers discussing hot rods!

Our 2010 EggCamper was modified by the original owners to run two CPAP machines through the night while boondocking. They installed two extra (3 total) 12V deep-cycle batteries (Interstate) on the tongue, ran a pair of dedicated marine-grade, 8 gauge tinned wires back to a 1000 watt pure sine-wave inverter near the bed, then just plugged both CPAP machines into the inverter. They said, all told, it was expensive but performed exactly like they had hoped.
