Roof A/C on a 1978 trillium

I know this has been discussed before, could someone let me know how I can determined if a roof a/c is properly install concerning correct bracing . I'm looking at a 1978 Trillium Sat. A.m. It has a small bathroom (toilet) in front, so I think it is a 4500. It is just an hour from my home and on Craig's List. He is asking $5400 for it. Thanks any input would be greatly appreciated

There seem to be two parts to this. On the roof there should be a saddle that the AC unit sits on, and a metal support at the rear end of the kitchen.

Post some pictures and I can tell you.

If you are 6' tall, you will bang you head on it.

Thanks for the input. I will check for both. Luckily my wife and I are vertically challenged.

Here is a 1300 with factory AC on the roof. The 4500 install is the same:
Mi (US) - 1979 - Trillium 1300 - ebay auction

Thanks. That helps a lot. It looks like the trillium I'm going to look at has a add on A/C. Doesn't look like it doesn't have a pan under it on the roof

From the CL listing I think it does look like an add-on. I wouldn't necessarily consider that a dealbreaker unless there is already substantial damage to the roof (cracking, sagging, etc). From the pictures it looks like this one has been meticulously maintained (it is much nicer looking than many of the others I've seen listed in TX over the past year or so), so it would be awful if the roof A/C ruined it

Clean little 13 footer. Front bunks replaced with a potty and shower. Not too bad of a job. What scared me off was no brace for the roof a/c and it didn't look like it had a pan under the unit. Plus price was a bit too high.
