I've used something with a different name, but same stuff as what Carol suggested to plug holes where I took off the stinky slinky and spare tire on my Scamp. Works exactly as described.

Mostly finished the interior reno of my Boler. As a result I have many unfilled rivet holes on the exterior. The aluminium duct tape works great, I've covered all of the exposed rivet holes with small pieces. I've had it on the Boler for a year now including a 4000km road trip in September. I've not yet had to replace any of it

Yes so have I and I can't for the life of me recall the other product I have used that is the same idea - think it was you Donna who recommended it to me. There are lots of putty type epoxies out there though - some other brand names are AquaMend, PC Marine Epoxy putty and Marine Tex also makes one premixed one for emergencies as well.

This is the brand I've used Carol. I'd recommend wearing disposable gloves when kneading the two parts together. It sticks to fingers really, really well.

I bought it at either Lowe's or Home Depot, but I'm on the "other" side of the border...

Yes Canadian Tire here does for sure as does Home Depot.

Edit: Peter as you are in BC you can also pick up some at pretty well any marine supply shop as well.

Thanks so much everyone! Hope to have a big long thread one day about a full Resto! Lots of places to camp in this unit on Vancouver Island!
