Roof Vent Leaking & Rear Window

Hey all, having fun puttering with my new to me 1972 Trail Mite, and just discovered that the roof vent is leaking! Is there anything I should know about how to fix the leak and/or replace the vent?

I also have a bad leak in the rear window. I looked for threads on the topic and it sounds like the right thing to do is pull it out, clean, and reinstall it. Is there a good thread or other resource for step-by-step instructions?

Thanks!

The first "trick" is to not search for the Trail Mite, instead, look for threads on more common trailers that have similar construction.

Same thing on roof vents.

The other tip is to NOT use the search function on this forum. Instead search the forum via google by putting this in the google search box:

Thanks Bill, this is really helpful! Good to know there's a better way to search the forum, and thanks for the link to this Scamp window seal discussion!
