I need to replace my vent lid so i dont have to take it on and off everytime i go in and out of the garage. I'd also like to invest in a fan for summer ventilation. I have found low profile and fans at the local rv shop, but not together. Does anyone know if they make low profile fans, and if they do- where to get one? Thanks for any tips.

Fantastic Fan has a low profile lid, about the same height as a vent lid... is it still too tall?

Or something like this?

MaxxFan cover/fan combo that sticks out by 5" when closed

Cyndi, if I remember rightly, your 'garage' is a condo/apt type situation?? MAYBE it would be more benificial to remove the vent and seal it up and look to maybe vent inside air from one of the widows via an inside small fan???

Its just a thought.....

...looking for more knowledgable people to respond.

I had to take the lid off my fantastical fan to get my 91S13 into condo garage. Almost had to take the fan motor out also because it sticks up above roof line. Lid wasn't at all hard to do and fan motor wouldn't have been much harder

Consider FF's Endless Breeze as an alternative:
