Okay, the cheese just got more binding - my husband just gave me a piece of what we think is the original seal that was on the camper door - it's "rectangular" shaped, and the dimensions are as follows - 5/8" wide and 1/4" thick. My concern is that I buy seal that can't handle the friction of the door "moving" as you go down the road (especially in Michigan - yikes). Anyway....so I think we are on a better track.
Again any suggestions?
(The D seal was because that is what he used when he replaced the flat seal that was originally on it.)

Door seals to toothpaste, usually I'm apt to run the train off the track!

Here's photo's of the door weather strip gasket from my '78 1300 Trillium. Close to 3/4" wide and 1/4" high. The top corners are rounded and appears to be a basic closed cell black foam. Could probably buy at Lowes or equal.

This seal attached to the actual door and not the body of the trailer, I assume that is to what you were referring.

Might be compressed a little, but not a lot. Was stuck on with double sided tape.

I'm pretty sure it is original, very crumbly after 35 years!

And now back to your regularly scheduled program....4 out of 5 Dentist recommend....

What I have left is about half of the roll...less than 20 feet. Yep, the stuff is pricey...about $5.50 a foot! One more door is all that it will do. I'll just keep my eye on the forum threads and someday someone will need it.

How can you forget this?
PEPSODENT - YouTube

I don't think the commercial would be socially acceptable today.

Grainger has trim lok in 25 ft lengths

I talked with Trim Lok and you can order from www.grainger.com I just ordered some D shaped for oour 13 ft Scamp. Note you want the type ending with BT as that is the 3M adhesive.
