I can understand the open flame argument however the possibility of an ignition source is always a possibility. To me, natural gas and propane both present a hazard but a CNG cylinder in the tow vehicle is considered safe and an open LP tank in an RV is not? This is what doesn't make sense to me.
As Jar Jar Binks might have said relative to LP safety:

"You have nothing to fear, but fear itself"

Remember, I said "Might" have said.....

Ellpea thinks that if she has to take safety advice from Jar Jar Binks that she might prefer being knocked down by the Millennium Falcon.

Or Harrison Ford.

Either one.

I have a friend who is Harrison Ford's doppleganger and, although single, he doesn't know what to do with that significant advantage. And... he wears "The Hat".

Moderator, we need a bucket of cold water over here in aisle seven. It seems we are experiencing a potentially dangerous LP situation.

Always, always, people are claiming I'm dangerous. Like, if I'm not handled correctly, I might leak or just explode.

Honestly! I'm a very nice person (and very safe)!

So confused.

You have been humbled in the end, but think of all those camp hosts who happily took advantage of you leaving useful stuff behind.
This has been a hot thread.
