Scamp 13 Crank side window, scissor arms. Where to get? Help?

The little wheels on the scissor arms broke on our window above the stove. I called Scamp and they said they didn't have the part and I could find them on Amazon. I don't know if I'm not using the the correct terms but I can't find them anywhere. Does anybody know what the proper term is and where to purchase a new assembly?

Thanks in advance!

What year is it? If it is earlier than early 80's it is most likely a Hehr. You could contact them direct or try Vintage Trailer Supply

It's a 2006, but I know the windows are hehr. Thanks, I'll give it a try.

I have phoned Hehr directly before with a window issue and found them helpful. I don't know whether they keep a parts store so to speak, but if nothing else turns up, turning to the manufacturer is an option. Best wishes to you!

I bought replacement Hehr knobs from these folks. About half way down the page.

- RV Windows

There are two sizes ,1" and 1/2" which is the stem size. Also they come in white or black. Order took about a month as they had to order them. My suggestion, go to your local RV store first and see if they have them. I suspect they are a generic item, not something Hehr produces. The spline spacing is what is important. Good luck, Raz

I would definitely call Hehr. Vintage Trailer Supply carries a lot of stuff & hard to find stuff too. I had a broken part on my Hehr Jalousie on my 71 Boler, unfortunately VTS didn't have the exact one I needed. So I called Hehr and they found some of their original parts the guy said they hung onto them just for things like requests for restorations. The part cost me $5 bucks and was an exact fit. It did take a few days going back and forth by phone for them to identify and find the right part.

Same Problem here

Hi!
We have the same issue currently. We have a 2004 13' Scamp and are looking for the same parts for our over the stove window. I too phoned Scamp and they told me the same thing-to look on Amazon. I have had no luck. Have you found what you are looking for? If so, can you point me in the right direction? We took our camper to an RV service place locally and they quoted us $475 to install a new window, though I don't know where they found one.

Thanks
Crystal and Jason

Jay & Rob, I am currently looking for a couple of these windows to install in our Lil Snoozy, so please keep us posted on where to get the parts or the windows. Thank you

Window

Wish I would have seen that link before I just had my window replaced. FYI, that window is no longer made but if you need a new one, Scamp has 1 or 2 left. You have to call and ask for Steve specifically as they are not regular stock.
