The one I have is a in-line valve I got at Walmart.

Camco 40055 Brass Water Pressure Regulator - Walmart.com

I am not sure which new trailers have or don't have built in regulators. Most people I know just buy one as posted above from walmart or camping world and leave it attached to the hose so you use it each time you attach the water hose.
