Scamp Back Window Unlocks

The back window keeps unlocking during travel and then the window slides open. Seems to only happen on the back so I'm pretty sure we aren't forgetting to latch it as our beds up all the time we rarely open it.

Any tips or tricks? I was thinking a cheap dowel but would like to fix in a more permanent way.

We had the same problem as you, the back window would unlatch, open and let in dust. We bought a spring loaded curtain rod, and use it between the fixed side window frame and the sliding window frame. Most of the spring loaded rods have some type of adjustment to make the rod longer or shorter, if you only find one that is too long you can cut it to make it fit properly.

Jennifer, if you haven't already done so, check to see if the little screw on the side of the window lock latch is tight. I know the one on mine has been known to work loose with time allowing the window to slid open even if it the latch is in locking position.
