Scamp or Boler?

I have what I assume is a 1976 Scamp. the reason I assume this is the red stipe around the belly band. this thing has obviously been painted at least once in its life time. After studying up on fiberglass campers I have come to realize the Boler and Scamp look very similar. Even the twisted metal supports in the kitchen. What is a good what to determine what it is. I can't find any brand name anywhere. Above the vin # is "E-76" then the vin is below that.
Thanks
Glenn

I may be wrong, but I thought all Scamp VINs were stamped on the tongue, where is yours?

The new Scamp website FAQ about VIN's should answer your question. The E in the pre 17 digit VIN stands for Everland's Inc. The company that builds Scamp.

Another way to confirm it is to post a photo - the rear tail lights & bumper style are often another give away if they havent been changed.
