I'm rewiring my Scamp and I can't find the power converter. Do all scamps have a power converter and where do they install them ?
thanks for any help..

I have an older 13' Scamp that I am in the process of refurbishing. It has a factory converter, that I am discarding.
The convertor was installed in the cabinet under the sink
I had an 90 13' Scamp that did not have a convertor.
I think the power convertor is probably an option.

As far as I know my '83 never had one.... So, I think that John is correct in that it was an option. Larry

I will let you now about the fishing as I am on my way out for my last serious fishing for a while this afternoon.
I am picking up 2 of my grandkids tomorrow. When you fish with 11 yo it usually turns into swiming and playing.
I am not complaing though it will be great fun.

My 91S13 was ordered with a converter but no battery (the owner intended to always use RV parks with hookups) and it was located under the curbside bench.

Because I don't use hookups therefore didn't need a 120VAC to 12VDC converter, the battery charger function was poor (too slow and prone to overcharge) and the dang thing was heavy, I salvaged the 12VDC distribution panel and junked the converter. I bought a good Vector battery charger for that function.
