Question Scamp13 signal and brake light issues

This is the first time I have posted as this is my first problem with my scamp. I am having An issue with the brake lights, running lights and signals. Any help wouldbebgreatly apprciated!
Here is the low down.
brake lights both work
Drivers signal running light works, passengers side does not.
Signals only work if I am braking.
I tried replacing the running light bulb, but found out the bulb is not the problem. = clueless owner.

Anyone have some ideas?
Thanks in advance!

It might help if you give us some history. Did they ever work? how long ago? If they worked was it the same tow vehicle?

Make sure grounds are good, a bad ground connection can cause weird problems. Also check tow vehicle lights, a bulb out there can make a difference

Welcome to FiberglassRV. Do you have a first name we can call you by? I prefer to respond to real people

Ground, ground, ground... then, fuse.

The lights used to work just fine, tow vehicle lights work fine, also checked out the tow vehicle wiring and that checks out too, ran into this problem last year and I cant pin down an event that would have made this happen.
Oh yeah, and I go by Bob.
Thanks guys!

Bob, do you have an electronic adapter in the circuit (like if your tow vehicle has separate amber turn signals)?

It seems odd that one tail light would not work as these are wired together as a single circuit. Is there power to the nonworking tail light? (Check with a test light or multimeter).

If there is corrosion on the tow or trailer plug connections that can give you strange results. You may also want to check the wiring behind each of your tail lights (behind the rat fur) its possible there may be a loose connection - Scamp IMHO doesnt do a great job with wiring connections.

I get no voltage from the running light bulb socket, so I will have to check the wiring, or it might be a defective light assembly, thanks for he pointers guys.

I have a test light that has a pointy end to it that allows you to puncture the wire insulation briefly to check for voltage. It come in pretty handy for trailer wiring.

Looks like this:

Milton S1232 Test Light

I had a simular problem years ago, found out was a short in a bulb. Only found this out by changing all the bulbs at once.
But most problems are GROUND /GROUND !!!
