Sewer Hose Question

I viewed a 16' Scamp today and very much liked
what I saw except for one major issue, for me
at least.

It turns out that the black tank release valve
is towards the front of the trailer (driver's
side), and the grey water tank valve is towards
the rear, on the same side.

This means having to move the sewer hose back
and forth for tank releases. I have sever
arthritis, so kneeling to do this would be a
major pain for me. I want to setup the sewer
hose once and be done with it.

So my question is how do hook up the black and
Gray water tank outlets in such a way that I don’t
need to be moving the sewer hose back and forth.

Is there a smarter way to hook these valves to
single sewer line?

Otherwise, the 16' Scamp was an excellent match
for my requirements.

Thanks,
Tom in Mesa, AZ

dopey arrangement

Gotta agree that arrangement sounds peculiar. I imagine it comes from taking a modular approach to building things.

Feel free to point out the error - but shouldn't it be fairly simple to run a horizontal line off the gray tank over to the black tank's drain line (with a valve near the black drain). That way one could drain out the black, then flip a lever to wash out the tube with the gray. Hmmm... Wonder if it would be possible to route it up to the black tank itself - then use the gray water to wash out everything - including the tank.

Course - this comes from a guy that doesn't even have a fresh water tank in his camper... Feel free to poke holes in the suggestion.
