Sewer Solution

Sewer Solution - Valterra 000110 - Drain & Flush Systems - Camping World

Has anyone ever tried this on their trailer? Sounds too good to be true - I'm wondering if there is enough water pressure for it or room to put it.

Jan the holding tank on the Scamps is so small it really is not hard to clean and not really worth spending a lot of money or using up space on extras for it.

A quick and simple way is to just before dumping fill it right up with what ever water you have and dump it, then dump your grey water tank to clean out the sewer hose. A flexible tank wand is another handy item to have when you have a hose to connect it to while dumping and it takes up very little space - you can put it in from the top or the bottom. But if you are dumping your tank out often you probable will not even need that to often.

Even simpler way to clean a dirty tank is after dumping it to put a bag of ice in it and drive with it.

One reason people get the Sewer Solution system is if they need to dump uphill. The one you are looking at is water powered; there are also other manufacturers that make 12V pump versions.

While not usually a problem for fiberglass trailers because of their small tanks, there have been complaints about how long it takes to dump with either system. With the water powered version you do need a good supply of high pressure water - it may not work if you plan to dump with your trailer's water system.

Jan we carry a Sewer Solution. We only use it at two places, at home to dump our tank and when visiting our son's house in the Seattle area. We connect it to a traditional hose and run it to their cellar washer drain to dump. Easy and realitively neat.

It's great for long runs and does help clean out your tank.

We carry ours in a plastic container attached to the bottom of our floor. We modifidied the end of the standard ten foot hose that comes with it so it can connect to a normal garden hose at his house.

You can buy a "blemished" sewer solution direct at a significant discount. I have one and am quite happy with it.

I also have a 'blemished" unit bought on line from the manufacturer.

Good info for thought. It seemed like a good idea but I may not need it. Thanks for the feedback.
