Hi Everyone,
I wasn't sure which forum to post this in, so I apologize to the moderator if you feel it doesn't belong in this forum.
I called Shademaker yesterday evening and spoke with Sid - I believe he is the owner. I inquired about the Supreme
awning, as their website indicates that they can take the 8 footer (which is a better quality than their Classic awning), and reduce the
awning length to 7 feet, which would be a better fit for the
Scamp 13, and perhaps other trailers.
In so doing, the projection of the
awning is reduced to 6 feet. He said that this requires a $25.00 extra labor fee, on top of the price of the 8 foot Supreme awning. If anyone is interested, you would contact Sid, and the company's number in Illinois appears on their website.
I know that Greg has done a wonderful job and produced beautiful pictures and directions for installing a supreme as it comes. I just thought this might be an option some might want to consider, if their desire is to have an awning that more or less matches the length of the awning rail that seems to fit best on a 13 (7 feet or a little less, right?)
Just passing along because all I seem to do on this forum is ask one question after another and it makes me feel better to think I could share something that may be of value to somebody else!
Warm Regards,
Wendy (CampyTime)
