Sheets!

I've seen some folks asking questions about sheets for the rear bed of the Scamp. I bought a a set of twin jersey sheets from Target and the fitted sheet fit the rear bed perfectly! I cut the top sheet in half and will make fitted sheets for the bunks as soon as I find the time.

My wife bought three sheets on sale at a Walmart. She used one for a top sheet and then cut one up to add a foot to either side of one for a bottom sheet that would tuck in. The remainder she used to make matching pillow cases and curtains. Looks great and cost about $21.

Don't like jersey. We've used flannel sheets year around both home and in trailers for many years. Better when humid in the summer because they don't get that "clammy" feel.

I have an Escape 17B with a 48" X 77" rear bed. I found 3/4 sheets at Amazon that are a good fit. The bottom is a standard fitted sheet, while the top sheet has elastic in the bottom, making it easier to keep tucked in.

Anyone use fleese sheets? Our first camping trip was in a thunder storm, and the trailer was damp. I am thinking fleese would be great as it would not be effected by dampness.

Do any other sheets offer this dry feeling as well in wet conditions?

We found a full size fitted although a little big worked fine.

I chose flannel sheets and bought a pair of queen size with a pair of pillow cases. The flat one I sewed up like a pillow case and put the memory foam inside. The excess from the end made another pillow case. The fitted one yielded enough material to do the same thing for the front bunk. Works fine for us - we sleep under a fleece blankie or one or two sleeping bags depending on the weather.
