I may need someone to act as a third party if I win a current auction on ebay for a spare cover(hard shell). I would just need it forwarded to me at my cost of course( in Canader eh!!)

Just ask them to ship freight collect/insured. UPS (United Parcel Service, not US Postal) is cheapest for insurance.

You'll have to pay freight,insurance,GST and any applicable duty. but you'll get it quicker, with less handling, and therefore less potential for damage.
