Side Window cracked. Where in Texas to replace?

HI,

We have a side window in our Oliver that is cracked and has water in it. They no longer have those windows in stock at the Oliver factory, (Ours was an 08) so I guess our next move is to take the trailer somewhere and see if they can just replace the glass portion of our window. Anyone else do this? Where do you go exactly? We are heading out of Michigan in a few weeks, first stop in Texas. I'm hoping we can find a place in either Austin, or San Antonio as that is our first time in warm enough weather to get this done.

So anyways, any info. on specific places, or even general places would be appreciated.

Karen, Oliver didn't make the windows. Do you know the manufacturer? Maybe Hehr? I'd start there.. getting that information. Then talk to them, they may have a distributor either where you're passing through or at your destination.

If you were coming into Oregon or Washington, I'd recommend: Boat Windows and RV Window Products | Motionwindows.Com

Well, that makes sense Donna. Ha ha....and I do think they were Hehr because that sounds familiar. Originally, Oliver thought they had one but never could find one, so we just thought we would replace the pane if possible, not the whole window. I will goggle Hehr and maybe even try to get some more information on which window we have, etc.

Oliver should be able to tell you the brand name. Since (I think) they're white framed, it's possible they're from Sunview... maybe: RV Windows by Sun-View Industries

If it is a flat window or flat double glazed unit any glass shop can replace it. You could have the option of safety glass, plex or annealled glass. Good luck.
