I found this in the fishing dept. at Canadian Tire. it's from Minn Kota so I'm sure its available everywhere. neat little tool for checking your batter level. I want to install one of the permanent ones they sell in the trailer too, but this is so easy and portable.

I don't have a cigarette lighter though. I will soon... then I'll get a plug in type. that's about $5 cheaper too (without shipping)

I've been using that one as well since we added solar. Added a 12v accessory plug on the R dinette bench base. Works great, and I think I got it at Wally for not much moola.

You'll want to let the battery rest for an hour or so before you use Pete's chart. Reading the battery during an actual electrical demand will give a false reading.
