Sink Strainer for Scamp 16'

Having only had my Scamp for five months I'm pleased to say I've spent 47 nights in it so far. I have no sink strainer so I'm very careful about what goes down the kitchen sink drain. My thought is it would be good to have a sink strainer to fit in the drain. One that is 2" wide and flat would be perfect, but I've looked online and don't see any for sale. I could build one, but would rather buy one; much easier. Any ideas or solutions will be welcome. Am I trying to get something I don't even need? Do you know where I can buy one small enough to work, etc.?

Thank in advance for your help.

You can buy the whole sink drain from Scamp campers for $12:

Plumbing : Sink Drain

If you call the Scamp Parts department, they may have a strainer they can sell you.

I just bought two wire screen strainers from the green Dollar store for $1.00. ( Dollar Tree) One large one for a kitchen sink and the small one that would fit a Scamp drain.

Sink drain in my Scamp

The sink drain assembly under the sink can be taken apart to remove what might be dropped in it. At least mine is.

Almost any hardware store will have little sink strainers, often in packs of 3 sizes.
