Small Hehr Crank Window Screen

We have the small crank window over the stove in our 82 scamp that needs a window screen. Does anyone know or have a photo of the screen and how it goes into that window? I've redone the other two crank window screens in the camper but this window didn't have one and seems a bit different.
I found the glass gasket at vintage trailer supply. But no screen parts that I saw.

The small window screens are installed the same way as your other windows except there is no seperate frame for the screen. The screen is mounted directly into the window frame. There should be a rubber bead that is interted into a groove in the frame, the sceen is placed over the window, overlapping the groove and the rubbber lockstrip (with the screen under it is then pushed into the groove, that holds the sceen in place.

When I rebuilt these windows on my Boler rather than replace the glass gasket I placed a bead of butyl tape around the inside of the window frame then installed the glass into the bead, this seal is working very well and should last a lifetime.

Exactly. I would recommend you get new spline, the old is probably hard and won't hold well. You can buy new spline at any Home Improvement store, just get the correct diameter.

Great! Thanks so much. I tried it with what we had and it's too small to hold the screen in so I'll pick up a thicker one next trip!
