Some problems with possible Trillium purchase

I have been looking for a Trillium and found this:
Trillium 1973 - Drummondville Caravanes classiques à vendre - Kijiji Drummondville

Here are some of the things that worry me:
1. The door looks warped from the outside and there is no window for ventilation.
2. The tongue of the hitch looks off.
3. They took out the propane furnace when renovating - is it possible to re-install and what would that cost?
4. I noticed that some "bruises" on the body have been painted over. What could those be? Do they need to be fixed?

Other than that it looks like a nice trailer for a cheap price.

That hitch does look slightly crooked, but it might just be the picture. I'll let the Trillium experts tackle your other questions, but it looks like a very nice trailer inside. I would think a door window or furnace could be added later.

1. The door is probably the hinges either loose or not fixed properly, you have enough ventilation with the remaining windows
2. The tongue looks to have been poorly extended
3. It is possible to reinstall the furnace, cost is variable depending on what they did.
4. It looks like amateur body work and paint job. It is hard to say unless you see it.

Sometimes it is better to buy something that has not been "fixed" than to try to fix up someone elses work.

Not sure it ever had a furnace. The door where the furnace would go has original hardware on it.

Putting in a furnace would require locating one first, since they don't make them anymore. Or you could have someone put in a totally different new furnace.

Pros
Hitch receiver in bumper

Cons
Not original tail lights
Questionable paint job
Extra latch on door, (Bargman L300 may be broken)
No converter

Thanks all, I am going to pass on this one. Hopefully I will find one in more original condition. Looks like this one is just hiding to many issues behind fresh decor. I'd rather pay more and get something better.

Probably a good decision

The door seems almost to be delaminated or have a large blister, very strange.

The tongue looks like it offsets the trailer towards the curb, again very unusual.

Having seen some trailers that just don't seem right for you will help you recognize the one that's meant for you when you find it.
