I wanted to make a spare key for the '80 trillium but the key cutters don't have the blank. I believe it to be the original lock set. Any suggestionss?

Did you go to a locksmith or just a key-cutter at the hardware store?

another option if all else fails, the cylinder can be swapped off an many many new keys cut to fit, but first I think I'd be lookin to go to another key cutter hopefully with a larger supply of 'blanks'.

Try Camping World, if there's one nearby. I tried to get spare keys for our EggCamper at hardware stores, etc., but nobody had the blanks. Camping World did.

Most hardware stores wont cut a key unless a 'match' is 'found in the book'.
In the case of my scamp they could not find a matching blank in the book.
I looked on their rack and saw that an IN8 blank looked close, so, I asked them to cut one, it worked!
Here is a picture of the IN8 blank, if yours looks like that, have them cut you one.

I have the same problem.

I called Camping World. They said they don't make duplicates, and DIDN'T offer the blanks. I can call them again and ask for the blanks.

Go to a real locksmith. Most bigger towns have at least one.

Better news.

I called Camping World, and apparently a few local dealers have the keys. Each key has a number. You tell them the number, and they sell you the key. There are only 125 keys for every Fun Finder on the road. You give them the number, they sell you the key.

My Fun Finder is the smallest; 12 feet, 14 feet with hitch.

So maybe you can get the key at a dealer. Not a duplicate made. The actual key, based upon a number.

I have a 75 SurfSide. I found a blank but had to go to a couple of locksmiths. I don't think the blanks are made any more from what they told me but there are some out there.

The key is an ILCO L 1054 M. Haven't tried a locksmith only hardware stores and key cutters.
