I saw on T.V. a camper that had the spare tire mounted on the back. The spare tire would swing out and flip over so a piece of plywood put on top of the tire made a table. Can`t find any info on the mechanism. Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks

Thanks, soooo much!
This is exactly the camper and lady I was talking about. I wanted to show my husband but couldn`t find any info on her.
I expect to have a tire table on the camper by next spring-hee hee.

Talking

Hmmm. One of the reasons we bought an egg to replace our tent is so we could eat inside away from the rain and bugs!

OTOH most campsites have picnic tables, such as they are:

Mrs. Richard C., have you checked out the Wheel Well Table Kenn designed? Too cool. Unfortunately I can't use it because Scamp's have "fender skirts," but perhaps you can!

Wheel Well Table
Very neat idea-seems easier to make and lighter weight than the wheel table.
We like to eat or snack outside and dont want to move our inside table outside. Many places we camp don`t have tables or there are few of them and they are already taken
Thanks so much!

You're welcome Joe. You know how it happens with age...it's easier to remember stuff from a year ago, then something yesterday? Well, this particular table really stuck with me and fortunately I could remember Bluebeard (KConley) posted it.

What I like about the setup is no extra holes through the trailer, pretty easy to transport and setup too. Besides, one can sit under the trailer awning or use the entire side of the trailer as a wind/sun break. I suppose with enough supports to the ground a person could even make it considerably longer...

Win-Win
