spray on rock guard mess

Our new Trillium is just great, except the previous owners tried a spray on rock guard coating. They don't remember what it was called. It didn't work out too well (see photo) and we'd like to remove it without risking the gel coat. Any experience or tips would be very appreciated. Thanks........Jo

Have you tried a plastic putty knife to get under that and lift it off? With any luck it will come off in chunks.

I tried this junk---One massive mess.I scraped what I could then took a belt sander to it.Try the same and then paint that area to match tow vehical.I would suggest enamel paint.WHY----Because it sets nice and looks good.Use a small roller.It worked for me.

LOTS OF LUCK THEY USUALLY SAND THE GEL COAT IN ORDER TO GIVE THE LINER COATING A GOOD BONDING SURFACE FOR GET THE GEL COAT PAINT IT I NEED SOME LEE
