Hi there everyone. I am starting my build up of a
Boler shell and have a question about a key element. The previous owner had this shell for a few years outside and the wood sandwiched in between the floorplan and the
fiberglass underneath seems rotten where there were holes in the floor for piping. Hard to know if the whole floor is bad since it is all hidden.
Now I searched the posts and found some posts on replacing this but was unclear to me of how exactly they seperated the floorpan from the wood and from the underneath layer (wood sandwich). This has the floorpan with raised edges and does not pry up easily.
How are the layers attached to each other and how are they attached to the outer shell? Any pics or tips to getting this apart or even tips on determining if the wood needs replacing.
Not sure of the year since it is a bare shell with no identifiers. Attached pictures show the seam between the raised edge and the wall, and one of the hole in the floor (the red in the hole is the frame below).
