T4500 floor as

Note thread title supposed to say "assessment" darn it.
The trillium is getting a bit more lovin than originally anticipated when purchased but travel plans are a ways out yet so I have some time (for more fun projects on the trailer ). As you can see in the pics the floor looks to have been wet over time it has fully dried out under cover for over a month.

I scratched around and seems as though there is some dry rot around the mounting bolts and wet rot around some bare patches of plywood under the dinette seats. No gaping holes or cesspools of mould etc thank goodness!

Am looking for floor paint product recommendation was thinking of some kind of enamel porch or floor paint? Planning some pretreatment sanding also to clean it up a bit.

This is under the front gaucho right side where I took out a white plastic tray. underneath was moisture trapped for who knows how long. Wood felt a little soft as it would I guess and grey paint flaked off very easily. Now once dried seems pretty solid....afraid to poke around too much though lol
Still not dramatic really but figured I should clean it up some and paint to seal it up it up to last another 30 yrs hopefully
Did they have green wood preservative back in 1977? Looks like it on the plywood they used.

The first thing is to find out WHY it was wet. Is the seam leaking, tail light, etc.?

Been there done that as they say. Stopped the obvious ones for sure. Window seals are due but they will be a spring project next year.
