tail light issue

Hi, everyone
I have 1974 13ft Boler, it has problem for right side tail light.
it works for night driving, but it does not turn on when flashing signal.
i guess I have to go anywhere no right turn for a while if I can not fix it..
could someone give an idea where I need to look at first?? thanks

1st check the bulb and socket, then check your wiring plug on your tow vehicle with a "trailer harness tester". The harness plug tester will give you an idea if the problem is in the wiring of your vehicle or your trailer.

"divide and conquer " If the tow vehicle tests out my guess is a bad ground in the light assembly. I would check for corrosion and clean the bulb or replace it. The park lights may be turning on dim as they may be getting ground from the left side bulb. On my Ventura the ground wire was just wedged behind the metal plate that the bulb sockets were mounted, 36 yrs of oxidation caused them to fail. I have since drilled a hole and used a self tapping screw to attach the wire.
