The JB weld bond product that Ian suggested does a good job of filling small screw holes making them hardly noticeable.

Ha Ha Ha ! I have the same thing too ! I just left it ! Except my screw holes are not exposed ! If someone wants to get in there going too ! Plus I have the keys for my lock set ! 👅👀

Yup on many of our trailers all they need to do is pop the hinge bolts out or on Scamps at least all they have to do is unscrew the 2 screws on the outside of the handle.

The purpose of the hasp may have nothing to do with security but a previous owners solution to a misaligned door latch. An owner finds the door won't stay closed as they travel down the highway and finds a cheap fix at the local hardware store. This forum is filled with creative solutions. Raz
