Unhappy

I'm almost finished wiring the 12 volt system in my boler but i have one problem , the porch light i installed is not working as it should . I have the typical setup , fuse panel , grounding bar , 14 gauge wire and marine battery . The light is activated by a seperate switch . All wires are soldered . I can turn on the light and off a couple of times and then it blows the fuse . I have noticed the wire from the fuse block gets a little warm . I started with 2 amp fuses and up to 35 amp with the same results . Can someone please help .

You didn't say you changed the bulb. Bulbs can do funny things.
35A fuse blowing is a short. Maybe a low resistance short but a short to ground.

Try using an ohmmeter with the power off to see where the short is. It should measure infinate , with the bulb out from the hot lead to ground.

Maybe even a screw rubbing against a wire for some time has finally worn it's way through the insulation of the Hot lead.
That will be harder to find but the ohmmeter will help by keeping it connected and have someone watch it while you wiggle every thing you can.

If all else fails run a new wire from the fuse block.
