So here we are at Sharp Creek campground up on the Mogollon Rim, having escaped the "burning hell" of Sonora. It's nice and cool here at 6500 feet and we have no hookups in this cg, so the
fridge is on
propane.
Second or third morning we smell something burning outside the trailer. Opened up the
refrigerator access door and wires are burning... the Sourdillon is leaking
propane, the heat from the burner is igniting it and, well we caught it before it got really serious.
So my question is, can the Sourdillon be repaired or must we get a new one and if so, are they specific to the model or somewhat generic. Any ideas?
I downloaded the manual from BryantRV, but their website did not have this model listed.
BTW, the Mogollon Rim is a forested 7,000 ft escarpment that runs diagonally NW to SE across much of Arizona and into New Mexico. We were about 30 miles east of Payson on Highway 260, near Christopher Creek.
