The widest bed?

It is for a knowledge, can anybody of you tell me in what stand out and model we find the biggest double bed, as 48" or 54 " or more of wide.?

For caravans fiberglass between 13' and 17', naturally...

I have just acquired Bigfoot 17' and beds measure, one 44" and the other one 43 ".

I am to complete the sale of my Trillium Jubilee on 1980 and the bed measures 53".

Thank You all,

Your best resource is this thread: http://www.fiberglassrv.com/forums/f...zes-29849.html

Some that come immediately to mind include:
  • Casita 17s have a 54" bed (except Liberty models which have a large multi-configurable space that can make a 54" transverse double, two singles or a lenthwise king)
  • Scamp Deluxe models have a 54" bed. Also, starting 2014, the 13' Standard can be ordered with a 54" bed as an option.
  • Eggcamper has a larger bed, maybe 54"?
  • L'il Snoozy and Parkliner have 60' beds.
  • Trillium 4500 models have a larger bed, 54", I think.
  • The pop-top types (Hunter, Campster) have larger beds.

Little Joe has a 78 x 62 bed; true rectangle.

Our Compact II has a 60X76 bed. That was pretty much why we bought it. A twin bed is 39" so how someone can call 44" a double is beyond me!
Most of us don't spend that much time inside except to sleep so it makes sense that the bed is the biggest consideration

All manufacturer's do this both molded and stick. Well, I have seen them call a 23" bed a single so that would make a 44" a double, I guess. Then you get into "short queen" which is generally, in an RV, no more than a bed 54" x 75. And then you have the curved corners on the molded fiberglass that shorten that area of the bed.
