Time for new window seals

I am going to be replacing the front and rear seals on my 1981 Scamp, does anyone have any suggestions that would potentially make the job easier? I have heard of a "tool" that makes it easier, but I don't know what that tool is called..

Thanks in advance.

They make a double-sided adhesive Butyl tape for sealing around the perimeter of the window flanges to seal them. It's what is used for sealing windows by most trailer/rv manufacturers. It's commercially available from just about any place that sells rv/camping supplies.

Do you know of any tricks to getting the old trim out? I watched a video on youtube.com about rebuilding a Scamp, they mentioned a "tool" that made the job easier but didn't go into detail about the "tool". Does anyone know what the tool might be? The "tool" is used to get the old weather strip out. (maybe reinstall the new also?)

potentially... Is that tool what I would use to install the new weather strip? OR is it used to remove the old strip? I have with no problem removed the old weather strip. Now I am trying to understand which side of the weather strip goes on the inside of the RV and which side goes on the outside.?

Some weather strip has a locking strip that goes in last to secure it. The tool above eases the installation of the locking strip. You can put the locking strip side inside or out. A determined thief could pull out the locking strip and push the window in - slim chance.
