Toilet Bowl

Toilet bowl won't hold water for more then 3-4 hours, I guess the seal is not working properly. Is there an easy fix for this ? Thanks, Carl

Clean the seal first of all. Just use a piece of paper towel when the toilet ball is in open position.

I found an old toothbrush works wonders at removing the piece of toilet paper that is probably the problem. Just avoid dropping it. And definitely do not brush your teeth with it anymore

I use the wifes toilet brush for the dirty jobs.
Our Thetford traps tp in the groove, against the blade, I made a little wire scraper out of a coat hanger, with a chisel point, cleans out the groove in about 10 seconds.
Takes longer to find the damn thing than to use it.
Lecture the crew about keeping the chute open until all the materials are out of the bowl.
The first job we did on the Boler when we brought it home, was to take out the throne, we use a cassette toilet, much easier, we can empty it in an ordinary campground washroom, or a pit toilet. With a combined grey/black tank if someone takes a shower, you have to find a dump station pretty soon.
