Toilet in 2014 (OCt) Sacmp leaking

Hi all,

First we LOVE our Scamp 16. We were "Semi-full timing" from Mid- January to early April. All that time the toilet had no issues. We are now on the road for a short 8 day excursion closer to home.

For some reason the toilet bowl is no longer holding water. What ever the seal is on the "Ball-like" value it is now leaking.

If you move the lever up the bowl normally fills a bit. That has been OK until this week. Now it drips through and is always dry. With the seal leaking it also seems that the odor from the tank is also wafting up a bit.

Only liquids so not horrible.

Any ideas? I assume this is still under warranty being < 1 year old.

Met a 13' Scamp as well in the city campground here in Petoskey, Mi.
It is a Deluxe version with wooden cabinetry etc. Beautiful unit. Purchased used from this forum in 2013.

Cheers from a drizzly overcast day.
Snug in our Scamp.

Bruce

When you quit using it in early April, did you leave water in the bowl? Also, for those who aren't familiar with the toilet that Scamp uses, which unit is it? I am guessing you cleaned the seal area to make sure there was no debris? Stuff can't really get stuck in the crevices.
