Trailer age, well not exactly ...

I have noticed no 1996/1997 trailers ever appear on this forum. My trailer is a very well appointed side dinette 16' 1996/97 trailer with all of the things I see in deluxe models but without the wood interior. When I called the factory and gave them the serial number I was told the factory had burned and there were no records. How long was the factory off line? Could this be why I don't see any 1996/97 trailers on the forum? Or is it that those years never had problems.

That's when they lost all the records.

I never noticed the lack of Scamps of that vintage. Doesn't mean there aren't any. Either people join and only read or don't even belong to the forum, could be two possibilities.

Fortunately the reasons that most trailer questions are posted here isn't because if certain years did or didn't "Have Problems". For the most part they are about improvements and updates, combined with users that are having user problems.


For the most part, the most important issue concerning years of manufacture seems to be the shape of tail lights.....
