Carolyn - while at the local Lowes this past week, I got that exact lock. We have the
Scamp 5'er so it is a bit more "naturally" theft resistant, but I decided that $25 was cheap "comfort". Dunno if it makes a DIFFERENCE or not, but it makes ME feel better. And I WILL use it when we unhitch while travelling too. it will now be part of the routine....
(shhhhhh... I will confess that I [b]
still believe that if a bad guy REALLY wants your rig, it is gone. So, I suppose **at some point** I may at least LOOK at a lo-jack system - but it is SOOOOO expensive. Sigh.)

Hello all!!
Just wanted to update this thread on a lock I purchased today for my trailer.

We elected to keep our trailer at a private campground about 1 1/2 hours from our home and while it's a small friendly place, I didn't feel comfortable leaving it there without just 'something' to slow someone down from taking it.
Wal-mart also sells this for about $24.97 I think we paid for it today. It works PERFECT on our trailer. Atleast someone might think twice about sitting there fiddling with it.
Just a thought for those looking for something inexpensive and a possible theft deterrent.
