Question Trillium 1978 door alignment

I have just recently purchased a 13 foot Trillium Trailer, and I have noticed the door is not squarely lined up; and it isrubbing and wearing.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Search this site, there is a lot of info about this.

I have had 2 Trill' and both needed work on the door.
There are several details and directions you can go depending on exactly what your specific symptoms are but in the end I just yanked the door off, replaced or substituted the wooden door jamb so the hinges could be reattached and then hung the door properly with duct tape so I could reattach the hinges exactly where they needed to be to get the door the way I wanted it.

Not as easy as it sounds so as I said already..... Search and Read.

Alix, I don't mean to scare you, but Trillium trailers have three issues that need to be addressed. The door you have already noticed. The windows will need to be re-installed, and the belly band will start to leak. All of these are repairable, but time consuming. So if you are doing the work yourself, then the cost is not too high.

It is the cover over the seam where the top half and the bottom half of the trailer are joined. There are many threads on the subject.

I have just started this process. I got my bunny suit, a dust mask, disposable gloves, eye protection, and a grinder. Actually I finished grinding and now I am about to start glassing over the seam. Then comes sanding smooth, and painting. An auto body shop can sell you a spray can of paint in a matching colour to trailer.
I will be starting my own thread on the subject soon.
