Trillium 4500 -- 13 or 15 feet?

We purchased a 1979 Trillium 4500 a few weeks ago -- in remarkable condition (I'll post pics soon). It's titled as a 13-ft., but in reading all the literature, it seems that the 4500's were all 15 feet. We have a 54" wide double bed and a 30" breadboard top to the sink, both of which came with the 15-ft. not the 13-ft. size. But the box itself is under 13 feet.

Any idea how they measured the length?

Measure the total box & tow bar
13' is total lenght giving you a 10' box.
15' gives you a 3'tow bar and a 13' box.

The Trillium 4500 is ~15', or 4500mm (14.76'). I suspect that it was named after Canada converted to metric, and the 1300 was named before. The 1300, if it followed the 4500 naming convention would likely be called the 4000. There is also a 5500, which I assume is 18'.

Welcome to the forum AND the Trillium club. No dues, promise(except for the pictures). As David said you have a 15 ft trailer. Fifty four inch bed, we should be so lucky. Virginia! Must have been a snow bird. Lots of good info on the forum. Also, by all means use the search function to see other 4500's and what others have done. Take care, Raz
