Trillium 4500 Rear Window Large Pane Replacement

Hi All,

Hoping I can get some help here.

I bought a '77 Trillium 4500 which had the left half of the rear window (the non-louvered half) removed to put an A/C unit in. I undid that (terrible) A/C installation and now I need to fix the rear window.

Thankfully, the main aluminum frame of the entire rear window is unmodified. The PO didn't need to make cuts or anything in that main frame to fit the A/C unit. They did, however, completely remove all remnants of the large window from the left side of the rear window. No latches. No hinge. Nothing. I'm not even sure what-all belongs there. It's just a large hole.

Best-case scenario, I restore the window to new, with latches and having the window operable. Worst-case scenario, I just silicone a nicely fit piece of plexi in there.

Anybody got any ideas? I'm sure other people have dealt with this before. If I can't make it like it was, what's the best way to put a non-operable window in there and make it water-tight?

Thanks in advance!

Try Tom Young at www.trilliumrv.com. He is parting out a Trillium 4500 that he used to make new moulds. It says on the parts page that he has rear windows.

Visited the Trillium Outback factory in my home town, Calgary. They have several used complete window assemblies. The don't part out the window, but they will sell you the complete assembly.
