I just purchased a 1980 Trillium 4500 and it did not have an awning. I came with the tree polls. The "C" channel is 110" long in the roof. I am going to have an awning made. Does anyone know what the standard length of the awning should be?

I would go about 4inches shorter than "c" channel. That was how it was on my previous Boler.

Hi Joe,
I Bought a 10 foot wide x 8 foot deep awning for my 1978 Trillium 4500 Deluxe. It goes out of the track about 2 inches on each side. There is no issue with it, and it maximizes your shade coverage! I bought mine at Sears online about 4 years ago from Windsor, Canada. Where are you getting yours from? May I ask how much it's going to cost? Thanks! Happy Camping!

Hi Dave,
I am going to get some prices and get back to you. What did the one from Sears cost?

I just ordered a custom made awning with a nice fringe and made with Sumbrella material and it was $350.00 cash. I will post photos when it is finished and set up.

Alberta Tent & Awning sold me an 8x8 awning for my 1300 about 5 years ago that was an awesome awning. It was lightweight, waterproof cloth, never faded, came with 3 telescoping poles, nice quality ropes, and stakes. I recently called them to quote me on an 8x10' equivalent awning for my 1700 and they quoted me $225 all-in. (note, not Calgary Tent & Awning which is a different company).

Alberta Tent & Awning has done lots of stuff for me (repairs on my soft top, and built a custom soft top for my pickup) and I have nothing but praise for their quality of work, timeliness, and customer service. Prices are very reasonable too.

Here's the 8x8 foot awning on our 1300. I think it was about $200 as well.
