Hi: I had to move the strike plate down just a little to secure the bolt better when closing the door. I am not super secure with this paddle-type locking system. Does anyone have another lock on their Trillium door? My Trill is a 1300/1974. Thanks- Mary Lynn
If you are worried about it flinging open bouncing down the road, we have never had a problem, and leaving the city south on the highway is like driving on a washboard, everything inside shakes and rattles, but the door stays secure.

And as Daniel suggested, it is only meant to keep out the honest people.
