Trillium door window glass fix

I'm in the process of trying to reinstall glass in my Trillium door window frame.

A PO had put 3/4 " plywood in the frame to probably replace some broken glass.

I have remove the frame and the plywood, but need to know how to reglaze the window. The PO also bent the frame trying to get the plywood in and used a lot of silicone to try to seal it up. I still need to finish removing paint, silicone, straightening, etc.

This picture is of the removed frame with the inner trim ring on top of the outer frame piece.

This how the frame looked from the outside of the door.

Ihave found a place on line that sells radius glass. I'm pretty sure that the glass went in the small part of the track and was probably held in with some sort of rubber gasket. Is this correct? Has anyone ever had to replace their glass and would a local glass shop be able to help me out or is it something that I could do myself?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A local glass shop would be able to replace the glass for you. Make sure they know it is for a door since it should be safety glass. They can cut laminated glass (like a car windshield) or make a template and have a piece of tempered glass made or put in a piece of plexiglass. They might even have a glazing vinyl that might work If the channel for the glazing vinyl can't be cleaned up well enough to accept the vinyl or the correct rubber can't be found it could be held in place w/ a bead of windshield urethane or , gasp, silicone, Make sure you bed the frame in butyl tape when you install it. Best of luck!

Thanks Reid.

The glass place I found on line will supply tempered glass with radius corners. Will have to figure out the correct size to order.
