Trillium table

We usually leave our bed made up in our trailer. But would love to be able to use the table in its half-size configuration for sitting around on a rainy day. Where am I supposed to store the other half of the table top? These old trailers are so well-designed, I figured there was probably a specific location inside to tuck it away, but try as I might, I can't put it anywhere other than outside which is not ideal. Suggestions?

There should be a sliding bolt latch at the back of the closet. That and a depression at the bottom of the closet hold the leaf.

There is a latch in the closet but the problem is it is hard to access when you put stuff in front of it so I put mine on a slight angle right under the table and window . It's always out of the way there and does not interfere with sitting at the table, works well for me.

Thanks Dave and Mike-

The closet, even though obviously designed to store the table, won't work for me as I've turned it into my pantry, using three milk crates stacked (attached together) and then secured on to the coat rack. Travels well and holds all my dry goods, canned goods, pots and pans, etc. Don't want to give up that space.

I tried to fit the table underneath the half table but maybe didn't fiddle with it enough to get it to sit there, even on an angle. I'll give it a try. That sounds like it might work for me.

Love this FGRV website - there's always someone that has a solution to my problems! Thanks all!

table half storage

i recently discovered it fit right where it was supposed to, on the lip where it sits when it's a bed, but underneath the 'working' half of the table. I travelled w/ it in that position once & it jumped all over, but bet some type of hold-down could be crafted. When it is down below, it also makes a great little shelf. I'd send a pic but I don't know how to yet (that little 'insert image' icon up there wants an http:// url for images. Huhhh?)

The insert image icon lets you paste in an image location from the internet such as from online photo albums or from a website. To copy that image's location just right click on the image and choose "copy image location" from the drop down list.

To add an image you have stored on you computer use the icon for the paper clip that is in the top row of icons then browse for the image, upload it. There are more complete instructions for this in post #7 of this thread:
