Have any of you Burro owners recently bought any Trim Lok for your Burro? A friend just purchased enough to replace hers on her Burro and paid a whopping $3.95/ft. (local outlet) I seem to remember my purchase being somewhat more reasonable.....from the same source.....although I can't be certain.

Thanks,
Mike

If you're talking about the pinch moulding over the seam, try www.scamptrailers.com. I got mine there for not much more than a buck a foot

Here is a guy that sells it on Ebay by the foot. All different sizes available.

Mark, Jim, and Bud.......thanks for your responses. All you guys were about the same in pricing so I think we were duped. The outfit in question is Ridge Runner Industries of Fairmont, WV. They make the Ridgerunner FG camper top and sell all sorts of trailering/towing accessories. Some good deals can be had there....BUT....obviously, some not so good. What they lose on the beans they make up for on the taters, I reckon.

Thanks, guys....
Mike

Bud, do you have any idea what the catalog number was?

I remember how impressive the print catalog used to be, but the website is a disappointment. I spent about 1/2 hour looking and the fact that the search engine is broken didn't help: When results span more than one page, every page after the first points back to the home page. Nothing under trim-lok, trim lock, channel.... I couldn't even find out where the nitrogen assisted lifts were. I remember the cool phonebook catalogs they used to mail out. These folks were the top of the mail-order game!

Regards,

Matt

The black that I ordered, 3/8-1/2" was #WP890797.

The white is #WP890798.

Thanks Bud - those numbers work! How does the "white" trimlock look on an off-white camper? My decades-old trim lock is practically yellow anyway.

Regards,

Matt

Hey, Guys
I have tried to find Trim lock white and no luck. I called the company and not one of their distributors carries white, only black. Sooo... silly me I ordered white, but had to get 250 ft. of it. I plan to keep 50 ft. or so. I'll be happy to sell the rest to the Burro fans at FGRV for my cost plus whatever shipping there is. Heaven knows, I don't need 250 feet!

Call the Trim-Lok folks in California and get them to look up the product number that McMaster-Carr uses. (It's not the same number that Trim-lok uses on their website.) The Trim-Lok customer service agent will need to examine previous orders from McMaster-Carr to determine the product number you will need to refer to when ordering from M-C. From what I've seen, McMaster-Carr usually has pretty good prices for most products and they will sell you just about anything that Trim-Lok makes by the foot.
