Hi All,
So I have this 8' A&E Trimline Bag
Awning which I believe is the 924 series. I'm missing a few parts but I've figured out how to recreate the poles and the rolling tube.
I purchased a 1" x 8' aluminum tube from Rona for the rolling tube and a couple of plastic end caps.
I purchase a couple of Sea Dog White Nylon Top Caps from Steveston Marine & Hardware for the top of the poles. The poles I made with 7/8" tube which inserts into a 1" tube to make it extendable. I drilled 4 holes right thru both poles 6" apart. I used a 1/4" Sea Dog Electrogalvanized Coupler Locking Pin which is inserted into both poles to make it adjustable.
I have what I think are the rafters but can't figue out how to attach them to the trailer. The rafters are the twist extendable type. One end has a 1/4" rod about 2 - 2 1/2" long sticking out of the centre held by what looks like a plastic cap. The rod will insert thru the the top caps of the poles then into the rolling tube. The other end has a 1/4" rod about the same length of the other side but is bent 90 degrees and pressed flat at the end. This end needs to be attached to the trailer with some kind of hardware that I don't have? I don't know what it looks like either so I can't make it one. I have a few ideas but I would love to see what the hardware is suppose to look like?
Anyone know what I'm talking about? Please help???
