You can tear sides to desired with. Will see as soon as I get it. 12$ a piece so it is not to expensive to try it. I have ordered it from my local window store.

That makes sense. Please let us know how it works out.

I am carefully watching this thread also, as I need to do this same Job soon, and am kinda not looking forward to it. I want to make sure I have all the right tools, trim and seals. I guess a lot of uhauls need these windows redone, so I do not feel alone. I appreciate all the good and useful information on this site. You guys are good to share.

Butter knife. Bridgette use that for most of the job.
I wonder what happened to her. She posted wonderful information and then no comments unless I missed them.

Well, this a surprising thing to read while checking out the posts. Thanks for the kind words!
Doing fine everyone! Just busy with work. Got the Uhaul out from storage a couple of weeks ago, windows still well sealed. No camping yet this year, but I might check out the Kingston rally at the end of the month.

Welcome back Bridget... it hasn't been THAT long, but you know what happens around here when we don't hear from the good folks in a while.

Thomas here is the Update: I just got the seal CRL B621. I confirm it is a good fit. The rubber is thinner than the original but with time the old one as shrunken for almost two inches so it was worth for us to get a new one. It also give a almost new look to the windows.
Only issue is that you need to trim the new one on desired width. Need to trace a fine line and be patient on the cutting part to have a clean finish.
Will send some pics soon.

Fred, thanks for following up on this. It won't be long before someone else has the same question and you will have already answered it!

Hey glad you are still dropping by Bridget T. Your information was so great; it has been used widely.
If you are looking for rallies, how about Roy's IN fish fry this month? Lots of folks, great fish, and a couple of Uhaul VTs.

Hi Cindy
I don't know if you where still looking for the outer bug flap but I thought I would pass along some info just in case.
I just placed an order for bug flap and rubber flocked liner, very reasonably priced. The bug flap I ordered has the same profile as the one I just removed but you do still need to trim the width to size which I prefer so that you can make accommodations for shrinkage. They also have the outer gasket and locking gasket available but I didn't order it. Unfortunately they don't have weep hole covers that fit.
https://www.hitechglazing.com/
WD-11639-Bug Flap - 1-3/8" Wide
AU-1033026-AS1268 Flexible Flocked Lining All-Rubber
Since the bug flap is actually meant for a screen/ storm door another suggestion is to go to a window and door store to see if they have it in stock.
I opted to order it online because with 5 kids I don't have a lot of spare time to run around and it was easier to order it online while I am waiting to pick up kids from various practices.
Good Luck in your search.
Shelley

Shelley,
Kevin came home with a door screen, but I am guessing we will not use it (unless he was being nice, since I was stung by something that flew in on the Rez - we did not set the screen house up there. Some over-sized flying ant stung me, but we caught it later that night in our gizmo that attracts bugs that we bought at Walmart), because part of the issue is space. The screenhouse keeps out the bugs and gives us more space to avoid bumping elbows.
